Inspired by The Red-Haired Girl From the Bog pages 34-36, by Patricia Monaghan. The Painting depicts the story of the ugly hag of Irish legend that wants to be loved freely... and when is turns into a beautiful woman... and grants the wishes of her lover. When asked her name she replies, "Sovereignty".
