Ok. I don't keep this diary up to date very well. I have good intentions but not a lot of time. You can see some of what I have been spending my time with at http://www.common-mind.net the interactive center I developed for the Sioux City Journal and that I'll link the other Hagadone newspapers into as well.
I also developed a new site for the paper in Beloit, Wisconsin so they can expand the news/information franchise beyond the Beloit area. It (http://www.statelinesampler.com) was launched on March 10, 2000!
I'm off to Idaho mid-April (my own private IDAHO...) to tour some other papers and see what I can do for them...
We also have Open Ad Stream up thanks to all the hard work Karla has put in... and are doing more site development thanks to the work Rob has put in getting up to speed on GoLIve and Fireworks...
We'll be launching BeTheAuctioneer.com next week that will bring auctions into the classified advertising space in print and online. My idea... but it could not have happened without the support and advice of Cindy Sease... We hope to sign up affiliates for this...
We have a client for ShopSite, an e-commerce software solution, that we hope to officially sign up this coming week as well...
...and there is the MLS issue... the Searchling.com beta... the ISP partnering... the Clickshare.com beta... and making the monthly revenue budgets...
Then of course there is my retirement plan... develop GlobalHome.com and sell it to someone so we all can move to the islands... or build it up so we all can work on it from the islands... the site is coming along... try it out and let me know what you think...
